synopsis: Created by reporter and author Réjean Tremblay (responsible notably for the success of Lance et Compte), the Réseaux series lifts the curtains on the happenings behind the scenes in the world of Québécois television. The series kicks off with the murder of a popular singer. Repercussions will reach the level of one of the leading heads of the national network; Télé Nationale. In a crisis context, we assist to the power struggles between the government and the state-run television. We are also given to understand the importance of the ratings war that opposes the various networks. In this series, where references to the Québécois television milieu can be found all over the place, the author used fiction to express his opinion on the state of a television network with almost incestuous links to government and big business.
